Update!
I’m finally getting a car. We rented it, and as long as it gets the ok from a mechanic, we’ll be getting it. Soon to be new car = ’02 Dodge Intrepid. Its pretty cool, and it’s really comfortable. It took a lot of convincing of my dad though… he’s really paranoid and is too reserved or something to buy any used car.
Frisbee was awesome as always. I really want to get enough people gathered at some point to actually play ultimate but just tossing it around is cool too. My side-arm is coming along. Its not great but it usually gets from point A to B which is a good start. I haven’t thrown it in a while. Who’s brilliant idea was it to play in the 90 degree heat though, lol… man that was rough. Oh, and Jon almost lost his glasses but we found em so it’s all good.
Munchkin is such a sweet game. It may even rival settlers in coolness… we’ll see. If nothing else, it’s pretty damn close.
Work sucked as always. It started out ok… I was topping pizzas and some other people were working on subs. Pizzas are sooo much easier. But that didn’t last very long… soon everyone bails on me and I’m the only cook left. I have to make everything including pizzas from scratch as well as clean and answer phones and anything you could think of for the last 3 hours of work. I get through it though with a lot of unnecessary and counterproductive hounding from my boss. The clock turns to 10 and I think I’m free, but my asshole boss makes me stay and clean all the dishes. FUCKER… anyway, I get out at like 10:25. I really should quit… work ties up my schedule soo much, but I need the money. Robert, I’ll take a rain check on our plans for today… sorry man, I was just way too tired.
Hmm… what else is there to say. Oh, Tuesday is orientation at Delaware and Wednesday through Friday-Saturdayish is my Christian rock festival (creationfest) so I’ll be away for a while.
I was watching the previews on Samurai Champloo 3 and most sucked but I saw this sweet new anime called J2 (or Jubei-Chan 2). Apparently he’s some famous swordsman, said to be better then Musashi Miyamoto. There’s a chance best buy has it so I will be stopping by there tomorrow after church if possible. Speaking of which, I’ve heard of both of these guys from Shura No Toki (different anime)… man do I love that series. It’s probably in my top 5 of all time.
I don’t think I’ll be able to take a trip to Ohio this summer, sigh… there are a whole lot of issues that just scream not the right time. Hopefully I’ll see her during winter break I guess.
Oh, and Nicole, if you happen to read this before tomorrow night, call me. Are we still having a movie night? And if so, where?
