Crazy afternoon
Soooo tonight was so incredibly fun.
Jenessa (my awsome cousin) met me and Monster (my sista from another mista) at Disneyland. Monster and I drove there a head of time and I left my car at her house. After fighting rust hour traffic we met traffic on Ball Road, some accident that blocked up 2 lanes causing everyone to freak out and watch. We finally got there and went to our normal spots for block party and then Nessa called saying she was in the park. Since she is not very familiar with California Adventure I ran to the front (from the back of the park) to meet her. So I was like a tiny bit late getting back but we popped her Block Party cherry.
After words we sought out to get her annual pass sorted out. My parents got her a two day pass to disneyland for graduation so she just had to pay the difference for the AP. After that we walked through Downtown Disney and all hopped in her car. You only get 3 hours free and we were going to have her move to the huge parking structure. We then went on a magical adventure to denny's.
This was fun because from downtown disney we went down Disneyland Drive toward Katella, and we missed the left turn and we ended up going across and making a U-Turn at the Anahiem Convention Center across the street. Once we got to Denny's we had a nice dinner and Monster was her usual self and was blowing spit wads. We also found a facination with the word Katchup!
After that we made our way back to the structure and luckly Nessa parked on the same level as us so Monster and I grabbed our jackets. After that we went back to Disneyland and got Nessa's picture taken for her AP then went back to DCA for Monster's Inc and the Electric Light Parade. Yes it was 8:30 pm we had been only been on one ride.
We sat and waited for the parade and we got a spot near the front though we still go suck with some really rude kids behind us that kept hitting me in the back. We kept watching for Monster's friend Kyle looking at just about every male that had walked by and then just as we had given up we found him. He was monitering the parade. He looked so cute and official.
After the parade was over we were hearded out like a bunch of cattle and trecked over to Disneyland again. We wanted to go see fantasmic but fireworks had just started and I knew better then to go into the Hub(area around Walt and Mickey statue), so we waited for the train and got to see the haunted mansion part of the fireworks(my favorite). We got into New Orlean Square at the tail end of the fireworks, so we ducked into the Haunted Mansion so we could let the first fantasmic show crowds get out. 9:45 pm ride number 2!
Once out of the Mansion we found spots for Fantasmic and saw the new added litle effects that made the show that much prettier. After the show we got hearded into Adventureland and we ducked into Jungle Cruise to get away from crowds. 11:00 pm last ride of the night!
This is when it gets good! As we left the park for the night my dad calls me and tells me that the 5 south is backed up, and the East Bound 22 ramp is closed. This sucked because Monster and I shoot down the 5 to get home and Nessa had to take the 5 to the 22 E. to get back. So we come up with this really horrible idea of having me ride with Jenessa and following Monster back to her house then Ness could find her way home from there.
The freeway didn't start backing up until Seventeeth Street. The sign said that the freeway was closed at first street, I thought tis ment the first street off ramp, which is shared by the forth street one. We could have gotten off on fourth street! So here we are stuck on the freeway from first street and the next open off ramp wasn't open until Tustin Ranch Road. It was merging that proofed to be a real bitch because Monster's toy car (toyota Yaris)almost got hit by an RV. She would have been eaten. It took us almost an hour to get from Seventeeth street to Tustin Ranch Road. We left the park at 11:30 and it took us an hour and a half to get home because the 5 was down to TWO LANES! The five freeway is a way of life. We normally get home in 10 minutes or so. Our top speed was 6mph!
Twas insane but of all the people it could have happened with I am glad it happened with them. We kept a sense of humer through the whole thing. It was a crazy day but I think it's the start of a really awsome friendship.
You're probably wondering why your still reading this I am wondering why I am still typing it's 2 am. Probably so I'll still remember, when I wake up.
