I felt so happy/relieved/ecstatic this afternoon when I was leaving my student teaching for the day and heard a little boy whining to his mom, "But I don't LIKE McDonald's!"  Finally, a kid with some health sense.  A kid who was listening during health class, perhaps, and realizes that a happy meal does not fit into the four food groups.  I  ( Read more... )

In two and a half hours I will be at my substitute teaching orientation/meeting/thingy.

a) I am very thrilled to have a job.
b) even though people shudder when I tell them I will be substituting in public school elementary
c) EVEN though my ex-student's mother offered to give me mace for the job.

It's been a busy day for my live journal, even though nothing much else got accomplished (waiting for phone calls concerning jobs FAILS.  What a waste of a day that could've been spent in Big Bear with Steven...)  I'm thrilled with my new mood theme: 10th Kingdom! :-D  That and I've got 28 userpics up.  Just thrilling!
