Today's stupid accident is misjudging the length of the laptop's charger cord and yanking the plug out sideways, breaking it. (Fortunately, breaking the power cord half, not the laptop half, as happened last time I had a laptop-power-cord accident.) Looks like I'll have to ration my laptop use until I can acquire or kludge a replacement. Sheesh.
