P's father drove me to Hamburg for a day, and then we returned to Bremen on the back-roads so we could see the countryside and the old German farm buildings. Unfortunately I don't really have any pictures of them. Once again though it was a gorgeous day and everything looked beautiful.

I am feeling a little under the weather today, I think it's just a few late nights catching up with me. I've turned into such an old woman, one week of mild socialising and I go to pieces!

The Western Australian Tourism Commission seems to have an advertising blitz going on UK television right now. They're encouraging the Brits to visit WA, 'the real Australia'. Guess I must come from the fake part of Oz then.

I know this is rather mundane for some of you, but this was my first encounter with the wite stuff and I was rather excited! Everyone had told me that they don't often get much snow in Reading because it's in a valley, and it's been a mild winter so far, so I was very happy to wake up to this view this morning:
