Vampire Knight Dub- I think my brain died.
So I just watched the first four episodes of Vampire Knight's English dub. When I heard Vic Mignogna was going to be voicing Zero, I have to be honest and say that I was a bit unsure about it. Don't get me wrong, I love Vic, but his voice just didn't say Zero to me. But upon watching the dub, I have to say that he wasn't half-bad. Could there have been a better choice? Probably. But Vic still impressed me. Mela Lee playing Yuuki, however, is an entirely different story.
I have never been disappointed with a dub until now, and it's all because of her. Kaname's voice is... passable, Headmaster Cross works pretty well, Aidou is alright, but Yuuki... ugh. Her voice sounds so whiny and amateurish that I'm pretty I sure I spent the entire first episode with a slight cringe on my face. I was even starting to think, "man, I probably could do a better job than this." *sigh* This is such a shame... :(
