No, I most certainly do not have a lot of hw that needs to get done right now. Why would you ask such a thing? Oh, wait, probably because you've noticed a pattern of me posting only when I have a lot of other things to do >.< But this is kind of related to hw!! ... kinda.
My study breaks for this past week have consisted almost entirely of Red vs. Blue. I've realized that I have yet to fangirl about this series. I LOVE IT TO DEATH!!!! (Be advised, there is some explicit language in the video clips)
For those of you who have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about, allow me to enlighten you. RvB is a popular web series made by Roosterteeth that uses machinima techniques with Halo. The series began using the first Halo, and has upgraded to the newer games as they've been released. It follows the dysfunctional armies stationed at Blood Gulch, the Reds (Sarge, Grif, Simmons, and Donut) and the Blues (Church, Tucker, and Caboose), as they quarrel with each other (for no other reason than one is Blue and the other is Red) and get thrown into situations beyond their capabilities.
The first five seasons are mostly a bunch of jokes surrounding a glimmer of plot. You have no idea how many times you'll want to quote these episodes lol. The next three seasons after that (Reconstruction, Recreation, and Revelation) are much more heavily plot-based, and were in fact serious at certain points, though they still retained their witty dialogue. There were some jaw-dropping plot twists in these later seasons, and I'm not gonna lie, I cried at the end of Revelation (yeah, I was shocked too). Revelation also uses animation that extends outside of the limitations posed by Halo graphics, allowing for EPIC fights and car chases.

Now for those who DO know what I'm talking about and are thinking, "why is she still babbling with these useless overviews?" I will commence the fangirling (though I'm cutting it short since... I should be doing hw lol).
Caboose: ridiculously hilarious/dumb one XD
Church: cynical de-facto leader who has to put up with everyone's crap
Tucker: total womanizer.... bow chicka bow wow haha
Tex: ba chick who owns at EVERYTHING (and Church's ex-girlfriend)
Grif: sarcastic and lazy yay!
Donut: may as well be the girl of Red Team hahaha, so many awkward responses from him XD
Sarge: battle-driven crackpot (I was insanely shocked by his mad deduction skillz in Revelation)
Simmons: nerdy kiss-up who never gets the recognition he deserves
Doc: pacifist who doesn't function very well in a war setting lol
Sister: Grif's valley girl sister, she's an odd one
Andy: loudmouthed bomb who just wants to explode
Lopez: Spanish-speaking, sarcastic, robot and mechanic
O'Malley: evil AI who basically causes all the crazy events in Blood Gulch (he's pretty hilarious while he's in Doc's head)
Favorite characters: Caboose and Church
Don't get me wrong, I love pretty much all the characters (honestly, it's the interactions and dialogue that make them all great), but these guys are the best!! I'm pretty sure I quote them at least once every day. There are so many great one-liners lol.
Also, I kind of adore how Church cares about Tex. Seriously, it's just too cute. (Revelation, I hate and love you because of the ending!!)
