Job hunting: Available jobs seem to have decreased by 50% since the crisis and it's now been several days since I've last applied for a position. Tomorrow or Monday, I should finally hear back about the 3-month contract job I'm hoping to get and interviews for the uber important job won't be till the end of November now. That's twice already that

If not, no worries =)
I hope you have a lovely Halloween; I was trying to think of scary movies for you but none come to mind off the top of my head. Signs (M. Night Shyamalan) was really freaky, and I know I watched a couple of others from behind my tee-shirt...but what were they...? Oh! The remake of Black Christmas (came out...last year? two years ago?) terrible and scary. Everything a horror movie should be. And there is old standby; The Exorcist. In any case, have fun =)
Good Luck in the job hunting; it takes a while to begin with and having to do so with the world economy in bad shape right now is even harder. But do keep your chin up; something will come along. Something always does, yes? And (to throw in the stupid American politics) if Obama wins on Tuesday I think the "good feelings" from that will boost the NYSE and hopefully that will spread around, or at least stabilize things somewhat.
For your entertainment, my mom, who is a bit of an alarmist; she still as the face-masks for when SARS was how we were scaring ourselves, as well as the duct-tape and plastic wrap should biological warfare break out and you decide you prefer suffocation, but I digress...my mother has the sleeping arrangements all planned out should the US find themselves in another great economic depression and my sisters, their husband/fiancee, my brother and I all find ourselves in the down-and-outs.

The Exorcist scared me as a kid, but now mostly makes me laugh! Have you ever seen Carrie? That always freaks me out for some reason, especially the end!! I remember flicking channels one night and suddenly started watching the last 20mins although I'd already seen it and ended up frozen on my couch in fear for a good 10mins after!! *shudders*
Yes I do hope the American Election will help the global economy once it's over. I do hope Obama wins because how will I ever get a job otherwise when Sarah Palin doesn't believe in evolution?!!
Are you dressing up for Halloween? If so, I want to see your costume! :D
