Jack looked at the clock at his bedside before glacing at his wife. It was 11:32pm and she was reading beside him. Jack tried to read his own book to settle his brain before bed but it didn't seem to want to work tonight.
He placed down his book and waited for a moment before speaking, his head down and his voice quiet.
Jack wasn't too happy about going to the Doc's office but it had to be done. He had to get over everything and tell Chris or she'd just leave him again.
So he swallowed his pride, and his gum, and knocked on the door.
Jack was lagging behind on his way to the airport. He did not, did not, want to meet Chris's parents! But he was being dragged along incase she needed the bathroom again so he gritted his teeth and pretended he was fighting all the Baal's created with a toothbrush.
It had been four months since their meeting on Halloween and two months since their first kiss and their first sexual encounter and Jack was bouncing around his house hoping everything was ready
