Dear UC Gundam fandom,
Quess Paraya is 13 years old. She was raised by a neglectful father and an emotionally abusive stepmother. It's actually fairly unrealistic that she'd be a mature, sensible, sweet little blob of sugar like you seem to expect her to be. Calling her "the biggest dumbass in Gundam" is pretty much like insulting a sickly cancer patient for not being able to play basketball in a room full of athletes. Sure, the stuff she does makes her seem stupid as hell when you hold her to the standards you'd expect from an adult. But she'd not an adult, not even close. There's a reason why 13 year-olds can't drive, vote, make legal decisions, etc.
What she does is also nothing compared to what Char does. Stop acting like her brattiness is such a heinous, unforgivable crime compared to dropping an asteroid on the Earth and killing millions of people. Yeah she's not everyone's cup of tea, but she sure as hell isn't the devil incarnate that you guys make her out to be.
