Some good ol' fashioned DBZ character bashing!
Oh, DBZ. Oh, the wank. Oh the wank.
1. Yamucha is not a rapist no matter how hard you try to make him one. Consider that after he and Bulma broke up, they - ready? - stayed BFF for the next thirty years. I'm not even sure he ever moved out of Capsule Corp. They're always hanging out together. If your ex is a bastard rapist baby-eating asshole, you don't usually become good friends with him after breaking up. Really.
2. Chi-Chi is not a heartless bitch responsible for Gohan not being a Super Saiyan level 12983479000. Chi-Chi is not constantly whining and complaining and holding her family back. No, she's not too taken with most of the group Goku hangs with. No, she doesn't like Super Saiyan. Considering that DBZ starts with her husband's death and her son being kidnapped by what everyone at that point considered the Greatest Evil Ever, I sort of don't blame her for wanting to avoid that kind of thing.
3. Trunks - "present" Trunks, that is - is not a lame loser wimp because he grew up in peace (relatively). Unless you want to also bash everyone else in the series for not being cool and badass and dead by android. And comparing him to future Trunks and calling him ugly in comparison? They are the same person. Exactly the same person. They look exactly alike because they are the same person.
4. Kuririn/Krillen is a not a loser who "doesn't deserve" someone as "hot" as #18. #18 chose him herself, and every argument that includes the word "deserve" automatically fails.
5. Marron may or may not be a bitchy slut whore rapist Yamucha underling. Its hard to say as she only has about five lines in the entire series. But she probably isn't. If you need a random scapegoat, it's really not hard to just MAKE ONE UP.
6. And for God's sake, DBZ fandom, can we stop bashing people based on their made-up powerlevels? I don't really care how much stronger one character is compared to another. It has no bearing on anything when it comes to their actual personalities.
