Ultimate Defense: Defending 50 Characters From 14 Fandoms
Character bashing is in almost every fandom; sometimes there's a single character, sometimes there are several. But, in almost every fandom out there a character will be hated by a majority. Today, I am going to defend 50 characters from 14 different fandoms. Yes, I found 50 hated characters in only 14 fandoms. Well, let the defense begin.

Misty is very cool, and she actually had ambitions beyond pokemon training (becoming a doctor) which I always loved.
Someone defended Hojo here ages ago and I had the same thought then: If my friend's told me she was missing school because she was sick, I'd believe them. I wouldn't think "Oh no, I'll bet she's going back to the feudal era and falling in love with a demon and she just doesn't want to tell me!"
Yuka is a sweetheart. I like her, and if she went after a guy she wanted what's so awful about that? She honestly liked him and as you say cousin marriage is legal in Japan, and actually is legal in most places outside the U.S. and in some U.S. states. (And it's not like there isn't incest of all kinds all over fandom anyway...) Of all the people in this series she was one of the nicest ones besides poor Nana.
I also like Rose a lot. She had troubles because she went through so much, and Ed cared about her as a person but there's nothing to get jealous over.
Gluttony is my second-favorite homunculus after Lust. Sure, he's creepy and he's no bishounen but hey, he is what he is. They're all creepy and Gluttony is amusing about it at least.
I thought everyone loved Envy? Which is not to say I don't, I actually like him a lot myself. And I do have sympathy for him even if I wouldn't do the things he did.
