With every fandom that has large amounts of fanfiction, and perhaps just fandoms in general, misconceptions about certain character or story elements can actually become a kind of "fanon" of its own amongst those who watch the series. In response to confusion this causes, I was curious to see just how often this happens, no matter what series, anime or otherwise, causes it. What are some you've found in your own fandom(s) that you dislike and why is it wrong?
