opening the coffee shop today alone and before the sun had even come up, i noticed a special message written in the margins of a $5 bill. "GLEN STROUD IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED" was balanced with (and note the quotations) "'SHE' WILL RIP YOU OFF!!" the handwriting struck me as similar to that in a letter i received when i was about fourteen. a man had ( Read more... )

wow....that brings back memories of some of the weird dudes who used to order my zine when i finally got it in factsheet five....but i never got any letters quite that disturbing.

i like the image of sending back an angry postcard. heh.

i like to think that there is an old man (because i associate old men with block print of these style) who was done wrong by a transvestite theif enough to write warnings on his currency. google gives an adopted girl named glen's information as the first search result.
