Just got back from seeing Of Montreal play live. The Minders weren't bad but they absolutely weren't good at all. I saw Hallie (<3) and I saw you, John, with your blue polyester pants, and tried to say hi, but you just walked off. I bought Satanic Twins (the new limited double remix album) and a shirt. It turns out that Headliners is closer to Jake

i totally didn't see you! was this before or after the show..? after the show i was ready to get the hell out of there.. and so i did. i bought a shirt (the green one) before the show so i didn't have to wait in the line afterwards and was worried that my car was blocked in. you should have tapped me on the shoulder and been like "hey, i'm derek. i'm that guy that you talk to on the internet and have done so since like 2003." and i would have been like, "hey." my girlfriend and i were on the left side of the stage the whole show, and sat at the table closest to the stage before the show and during the minders.

PS. the show was gooooood, and i thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I saw you on the left side for most of the Of Montreal set. I was directly right of you, maybe 7-10 feet.

I was gonna say hi but I got sort of stampeded by people trying to leave, so then I went to the merch booth. At the merch booth buying a shirt (because earlier the one I wanted wasn't in my size, so I had to think and come back), I waited for you to come by. I was like, "John! JOHN!" -you walk by- "... or not." I felt as if I was speaking loud enough but then I do have a tendency to overamplify my sound in my mind, so you probably just didn't hear me.

BTW I was wearing a brown plaid long-sleeve shirt and donned long sideburns. I bought the bright blue Of Montreal shirt with the two girls.
