Just got back from seeing Of Montreal play live. The Minders weren't bad but they absolutely weren't good at all. I saw Hallie (<3) and I saw you, John, with your blue polyester pants, and tried to say hi, but you just walked off. I bought Satanic Twins (the new limited double remix album) and a shirt. It turns out that Headliners is closer to Jake's than I ever thought so I could probably get there easily for Silver Mt. Zion next week. Score.
Of Montreal themselves were OK. I'm sort of let down about the show but that could be because I might've overhyped it. They did play a lot of good material but I'm not diggin' the new songs at all. I wish I could've seen them on an older tour where they weren't just tryin' to get people to dance.
Hm... Work has me scheduled for today through Saturday even though they asked me when I wanted my last day to be... So... Fuck them; if they actually want me to come in, it's their loss.
I'm at Jake's right now, but you might not see me online much at home until I find myself a new job, because... well... No internets for me after today until I get one. It's very possible that I could still jump on a decent amount of time because my parents both work (finally/again), so I wouldn't be too worried about not being able to speak to me. But all the same it's not as if anyone cares that much.
