[Gaming] Metroid Prime
So I borrowed Metroid Prime from crit_knitter and decided to play it tonight. It is the first time I've played any of the franchise (since the GC is my first Nintendo system). I like the way it is done. The only gripe so far (I'm on boss 4 of 7 in a single session) is that the 4th boss and it's previous smaller monsters like it are *totally* ripped off of Half-Life (big blade-headed tentacles with a huge eye out the side).
I did realize that my receiver is still broken and needs to be replaced, because the GameCube is on the analog input side, which is clipping the shit out of my amp. *sigh*
Well I've had a day, so I will go crash now.
