Fourth shift. (Is approached by one who announces himself as the Fifth Child, and goes on to declare that he knows her and that they are alike.)
Night. (With Ikari, Rei explores part of the Institute in a search for the Fifth. After moving through a hall that brought up nightmares, they find the Fifth, impaled in an entry plug with what looked like a small version of the Lance of Longinus. Rei keeps this.)
Day 49:
Bus ride. (Speaks with a "patient" called Sai about the option of this being a military establishment.)
Black Rock Inn. (Speaks with Ikari about what has been learned and the night before.)
Night. Home.
Day 50:
First shift. (Is accosted by Kaworu.)
Third shift. (Is seated with Rika.)
Fourth shift. (Moves quietly by herself.)
Nightshift. (Comes across wounds and a girl named Aigis.)
