I got early despite my best wishes. Cats were pestering me for morning treats. I am seriously thinking of taking nthe duvets out, it's been that cold.
We went shopping but first I need breakfast. And it was a bit of a hike up Princess Street as most places had line ups. It looked like parents came to visit their children at Queen's and St Lawerence becasue a lot of people were shopping and eating downtown.
We ate at The Small Batch Cafe. I had their breakfast bacon sandwich with coffee and a cinamon chocolate scone (checking out the competition and took a picture for work) while The Hubby had hot choclate. I found the scone too sweet to be honest. And the tip looked burned.
We then dropped by Midori where I bought two cute note books with cats on the covers lying on the lines of the paper like it was a bed sheet or peeking through them like they were window blinds. Just too cute.
We skipped Nexus.
We dropped but The Wayfarer, which now has regular hours, to but some second hand books. I got two Godzilla novels and a Marion Zimmer Bradley book. The Hubby got Conan the Buccaner.
We went to Vandervoots to get wood screws. Maybe too many but you never know when you might need more.
And then we went grocery shopping for stuff I need for a quinoa cake I am trying and The Hubby got boneless skinless chicken breasts. We noticed more couples with post secondary aged children in the grocery store again.
Came home.
We had hamburgers for dinner.
I played Hearthstone.
Then I did my LARP note and journal.
I forgot to wish my brother a happy birthday. Oh well, text him tomorrow.
