Today was the annual fire alarm system testing day. I made sure our apartment was done before I left for work. The technician had to borrow my step stool to check out the smoke detector, which I warned him would be a bit slippy on the floor as he slid a bit. Everything works fine.
The landlord made arrangements to fix the baseboard heater in the computer room when The Hubby arrived home. He came by an hour later than expected to fix it.
I need to plan out some household stuff next week and get cracking on our paperwork.
Seems I an enjoying having cheesy familiar movies as background music while I type out my journals. I guess I should do it more often while I think things through. I guess this harkens back to to dong my homework with the radio on to my faviurite station.
Sans-souci has taken a liking to my new red backpack, it a bit cozier than my old blue one. She is also becoming very cuddly as the cold weather comes in and the sunshine is less and less strong each day.
I got a new catfood container from my co-worker. Can't wait t clean it up and use it.
I bought four bears for my days off. I need to take picktures of the ones I have drank so far and return the cans bottles for deposit. I've had a lot more alcohol this year that I've had while at old job. Probably cause I have more money yo buy it. But this will have to slow down soon as I need to start saving up for Anime North.
