Fantasia Intrenational Film Festival 2015

Jul 11, 2015 16:45

FIFF's website went live on Tuesday July 07/15, giving yours truly five days to pick the best movies to cram into 5 days with The Hubby, my gorephobic mother, and my easy going brother.

For my mom I choose Therapy for a Vampyre (2014) from Austria or The Arti: The Adventure Begins (2015) from Taiwan (which The Hubby and I are going to see anyways). She chose Therapy for a Vampyre, wich looks like a 1930's screwball comedy but with vampires.

For my brother I chose Teanna: 10000 Years Later (2015) from China and Buddha's Palm (1982) from Hong Kong Shaw Brothers studio. He chose Buddha's Palm and I haven't ever seen any of the Shaw Borthers movies so this should be a real treat.

The rest of the movies I picked for The Hubby and I are: Office (2015) from South Korea, Assassination Classroom (2015) from Japan,
Crimson Whale (2014)from South Korea, The Case of Hana and Alice (2015) from Japan, A Hard Day (2014) from South Korea, and Boring (2014) from Norway.

I am pleased to say I got all my tickets in 25 minutes on the ticket selling website when it opened at 1PM today.

And we got a deeper dicount than usual for our hotel room at Le Nouvel Hotel thanks to Looking For Group webcomic and I booked super early for our bus tickets on Megabus.

Can't wait because I really need to get away.
