Had a good weekend!
On Friday night I had a couple people over to watch Little Big Soldier with Jackie Chan. I will keep this up and hope to add another couple of people and hope to get some games in too.
On Saturday, I stayed in due to the freezing cold. I played a lot of World of Warcraft, watched anime, alone or neighbour's kid, and just did not do much of anything.
Sunday was busy. Got a 14 day pass from Funimation to see if I want to add their seiries for my viewing pleasure. I have already taken Barakamon to my heart and my new slice of life favourite.
Went to June's to finally hang the acursed curtain rod. Shoulda just used holes that were already in the wall since we don't have to worry about two or four legged babies pulling on the curtains anymore.
Took Buddha Monkey to the matinee showing of Paddington. Lots of little kids but they behaved pretty well because the movie kept them entertained. It was fun seeing the latest Doctor as Mr. Curie the annoyed neighbour. I think Nicole Kidman enjoyed herself too much as the villainess. Seems to be the thing for A-list actors and actresses who have young children doing kids movies. And the British Natural Museum looked wonderful.
Worked on the script for the Masquerade at Anime North. Still trying to work out costuming and hair. And asked an aquaintance if he do one of the roles.
Had a good dinner of roast pork, boiled cabagged, and mashed potatoes.
On my way home I got two donuts.
The Hubby wants to run a Malifaux rpg game with some friends who come down every other Saturday. And scince I quit the LARP on my Saturday's off, I miss one couple in particular so I will play.
So got plenty of rest and enough outside activity too.
