We went to LARP in Belleville and had a good time with the game. Had one priceless "What the Heck!" moment when the mute MALE Gangrel went diving into MY purse for a map of New York City. At wrap up, I nominated someone for role-playing but he did not win.
We four larpers got into the car to come home. We were zipping along the 401 at a good pace. We had a little bump at some point but could hear any damage or saw a critter on the road.
And about 35 kilometres from home at 1:15 am the car died. The motor was fine but no power to the wheels. So our driver called home to get his CAA number from his dad. A few cellphone calls later we had a tow truck coming and his dad came to give us a ride home. I got home at around 3:30 am, and hour and a half later than usual but I got home.
Our Diver was commenting how his cars seem to die on him in September. He had 3 days to beat that curse but I guess Carma got to him.
