... I get to see and hear all sorts of bird life. I heard a whip-poor-will on Sunday night. On Monday morning I saw a Pileated Woodpecker. I glimpsed a hummingbird but could not tell what kind but it's back was an olive green. I spied a cute chipmunk eating raspberries outside the kitchen window. And I finally found deer, two of them, while being driven home. And I was routinely attacked by deer flies.

So I will make damn sure I bring my camera tomorrow.
