Katekyo Hitman Reborn
Finished the Varia arc yesterday; will start on the next one as soon as this wave of work passes by.
After first getting into a series, there's always a bit of time where it's too early for me to be coherent/analytical about anything. Still, the humor in this series is a lot like Gintama at times, in a way that makes me think it works terrifically in art but would be very difficult (for me, at least) to write. I do love, though, how it gives far, far more weight to serious moments, when compared to Gintama.
Other than that...I really like Hibari, which is probably quite predictable of me. ^_^ He went very quickly from someone that was kind of cool to an absolute favorite character during the Mukuro arc, and I find the fact that he keeps the bird around to be oddly touching. (The way I see it, they get along because that bird is every bit as intractable and...opinionated as Hibari is; hence why it was wandering around Kokuyo when the rest of the flock had work to do outside, right? XD)
Have to admit I'm also more fond of Gokudera than I'd ever thought I would be. Must be that I have a thing for the obsessive/"I will do this even if it kills me" types. ♥
I remember quite a few people here following this series. It's a bit early, but are there any fics/authors that I should check out? :)
Dramapuri (aka the Chinese PoT drama)
Found confirmation that they have indeed begun the shooting for the second season (to be released this summer). I watched the first with no expectations whatsoever and was pleasantly surprised, so I guess I'll be trying to do the same here.
According to one report, this is the exterior of the tennis clubroom they're using for filming. I'll be looking hard for that picture once the episodes come out. ^_^*
