Heh heh. I was totally hardcore on my bike, too--ridin' in the dark, the rain, and across the Willamette river. Rawk. My pelvis bones sure do ache today, though. The ones that sit on the bike seat.

extremely interesting! i purified a protein using insect cells and a his tag last year. (and reading about others failures makes me feel like less of one)

My ligation didn't work for four months. IT FINALLY DID. Booyeah.

I was purifying Gle2 which binds to nuclear pore proteins.
I'm in tight junction lab now...so lots of claudins and occludin and zo proteins. fun times.
