[fic] broken chapter 3 + spazzing time~ :D
It had been 3 weeks after the funeral ceremony. It had also been 3 weeks that Ryo started to stalk a man by the name of Ueda Tatsuya.
“This is strange. Me walking behind him. Tracing his every little step. Now that it had reached 3 weeks since I first followed him, I grew to know him better. Even in the real fact we've never talk to each other, I know where he lives, what he does for living, his favorite hang-out place.
I don't know why I'm even doing this. Maybe because of guilt. Or maybe I've grown to like him.
One thing that I'm sure of, I’ll never be able to stop following him. Just by staring at him from far away, I felt like somehow I've protected him.
He still wears the same face like what I saw at the funeral ceremony. No smile. Not even a laughter.
Everyday, he'll go to his workplace, a doughnut shop. I watch him serving the customers with the same blank expression. On lunch break, he'll eat alone on the bench under a Sakura tree. Then on the way going back home, he'll stop at the florist and buy the same bouquet of white roses.
Then he'll head to Ohkura's graveyard, staring at the tomb for hours. Sometimes, he'll 'talk' to his deceased boyfriend.
Looking at his fragile body breaks my heart. The one that caused all those endless tears flowing through that beautiful, porcelain skin was me. When I took away his beloved, I didn't realize that I’ve also took away his happiness. Until I started to follow him, all I could see from the expressionless face of him is emptiness.
And I would give this entire world to fill those empty spots. To put a smile back to those perfectly-carved face.
If only I could do that..”
"Ryo, you have to stop this." Pi suddenly said. He looked helplessly at his cousin that looked dead in the eyes, lying on the couch while looking up on the ceiling. He sat beside the young man in messy trench coat.
"What good will it does to you to keep following that guy? You have to go back to work, Ryo. I mean seriously, sooner or later your father will find out that I’ve been replacing you at work."
Still, no response from the black-haired man.
"Urghh! Get over it, idiot!! It’s not like you want this to happen in the first place! And that guy is already dead! There’s nothing we coul-"
"I want to talk to him."
"...What?" Pi blinked at his cousin.
"I have to talk to that guy.."
Pi snorted while giving his ‘are-you-serious’ face "And then what? Tell him that you had killed his boyfriend?"
"Get real, Ryo. Why do you want to get yourself into trouble? No one saw us that night! And need I remind you that you’re the one who suggested the idea of leaving that guy to save your business empire. Just let it be that way. Besides- hey! I’m lecturing here!"
Pi’s yell doesn't stop Ryo from pulling the front door open and walked away.
"God! Why the hell do I get a moron as my cousin??" Pi sighed and started to switch on the TV channel.

Ueda Tatsuya was struggling with a bag full of groceries when someone interrupted from behind.
"Hi, can I help you?"
Turning around, he could see a young man about his age, smiling sweetly at him.
"Er..no..Thanks" worried that he might be a culprit, Tatsuya quickly tried to vanish away but soon after that, several oranges from his bag fell onto the ground.
Picking them up seems kind of impossible since he's holding a giant bag with both hands, so he turned to look at the stranger again. Now that he looked closely, he knew that the guy couldn’t possibly be a thief. His outfit looks neat and tidy. Even his shoes are nicely polished.
"On a second thought, please help.."

"Thank you so much! Um..Here." he handed the guy a couple of yen notes and the guy immediately shake his head.
"Oh..no..no! It’s okay. I just want to help."
"But-"
"I should go now."
"Wait! um..at least have a cup of coffee as the sign of my gratitude."
'No. Ryo. Just go. Do not let yourself get more involved with this guy. He’ll hate you when he knows the truth!' Pi’s voice echoed in his head.
".....O-k.."
"Ah. By the way, I’m Ueda Tatsuya. And you?"
"Ryo. Nishikido Ryo."
The name somehow seems familiar as Tatsuya gazed at the newspaper beside him.
"...Nishikido? As in, that big communication company?"
"Uh..well, yeah.."
"Oh my.. I just gave 200 yen to the heir of Nishikido Corp.. I’m so sorry. I really don't know that you.."
Ryo let out a nervous laugh.
“It’s fine. Besides, it’s my father's company. His wealth. Not mine.”
Tatsuya could only smile at the black haired man.
“You're a good person.”
“Eh?”
“Um..well..I always have this assumption that rich guys are bad. But, you're nothing like that at all. In fact, it's very kind of you to help me just now..”
They beamed at each other.
Not knowing that the start of this relationship could bring a disaster in the future.
