Your ficlette was the main reason I went through the process of being a member of this community. It was just great. I love that you found inspiration in your favorite shoes, that's genius.

"But that wasn't good enough for whoever created them." I think that is one of the best lines ever. That made the post incredibly intimate. What a great touch.

I think H/Hr shippers work harder to make the ship come alive, I've always felt that wat. You just reaffirmed it to me. Thanks. ;)

oh wow. just wow. that is, by far i think, the absolute BEST comment i've ever gotten on anything that i've written. that this piece that i wrote in like ten or twenty minutes was one of the reasons why you decided to join this community. just....wow. thank you for that, seriously. i haven't written anymore h/hr stuff since this piece really, nothing post-worthy, bordering on nothing at all. i've been personally computerless for over a month and that's just been remedied with the arrival of my new laptop, so hopefully i'll be churning out some more ficlettes for my fanfic100 challenge of h/hr, which this was one of. so yeah. anyway, i so agree with you in the comment that h/hr shippers really work harder than every other ship group to make their ship come alive. i see it time and time and time again with almost every h/hr piece i read, though i haven't had the chance to read many at all here lately, despite it being summer and me being home from college for the summer....anyway, thanks so much again and again and again. hope you're ( ... )

I've noticed that most readers won't comment on 'drabbles'. Personally, I think drabbles are harder to write than standard fics. Less planning, spur of the moment, first thing that comes to mind, and limited space for telling can be daunting. You did well and I was compelled to say so.

I'm serious about why I initially joined, check the 'Why I want to join' threads. :D

However, I found many other reasons to want to be a part of HarryHermione as well. Oddly enough, my laptop came in last month after I was without a system for about 5 weeks! It was hell, serious torment. :D I'm glad you're hooked up now.

I am having a good day, mostly. Thanks! Will you be posting the rest of your ficletts here as well?

About the H/Hr ship...it annoys the hell out of my friends. *sniggers* I don't have a ship. I like them all (-slash, not my thing).

Anyhoo. Expect more reviews. I try to stay concrit if there's something I think you might care to hear.

You have a great evening!

i do plan on posting the other ficlettes here, as well as my writing journal and my regular journal and several other h/hr communities, and at fanfic100 since that's the challenge i have over there. i'm about to go dig around in my room in my cd pile for the hp fanfiction cd where i hopefully have all of my hp fiction stored so i can download it here onto my new computer, and so hopefully i'll be up and running with that sometime soon. lets hope my inspiration hasn't died in this almost two month period i've been personal computerless, lol. anyway, i understand with the being all ships. i can be, but i really do lean more towards this one for whatever reason. it's just the thought of them with, well, i won't get started on my reasoning for h/hr, lol, i'll bore you to death. take care, hope you keep on enjoying the stuff you read here and everywhere else. there are loads of great hp fanfic writing communities separated by various ships and just general ones as well out there. take care.

I don't intend to be a pest, I would however enjoy hearing about your reasonings for Harry / Hermione pairing.

You take care as well.

heh, you aren't being a pest. most people don't even care to consider the harry/hermione pairing for whatever their reasons are, and i can get on a thread and keep going for a while. but i haven't actually been asked my reasons for shipping them lately, so these are really just off the top of my head right now. i guess the main thing is their solid friendship, their practically instant understanding of each other, the easiness they have with each other in it seems every situation that we've seen them deal with. the way hermione believes in harry (for the most part) without question (especially during the goblet of fire, hbp excluded for obvious reasons, lol) and just all of that in general really. the way she treats him like he's harry, not the harry potter, like everyone else does (even ron and ginny and the rest of the weasley's to varying extents despite their claims not to, especially ginny....) i don't like how the harry/ginny pairing is essentially the james/lily pairing a generation down, that unnerves me a good deal for some ( ... )

I'm glad I wasn't coming over as a pest. Solid friendship and a mutual understanding of respect are the best foundations for a relationship in my opinion. Attraction is also important. Most H/G shippers IMHO do use the succession of James and Lily. It works well when used properly most of the time it appears to me as the fairy tale, fated relation-ship. I think that's why I'm shippless, leaves me at liberty to pursue them all ( ... )
