oh wow. just wow. that is, by far i think, the absolute BEST comment i've ever gotten on anything that i've written. that this piece that i wrote in like ten or twenty minutes was one of the reasons why you decided to join this community. just....wow. thank you for that, seriously. i haven't written anymore h/hr stuff since this piece really, nothing post-worthy, bordering on nothing at all. i've been personally computerless for over a month and that's just been remedied with the arrival of my new laptop, so hopefully i'll be churning out some more ficlettes for my fanfic100 challenge of h/hr, which this was one of. so yeah. anyway, i so agree with you in the comment that h/hr shippers really work harder than every other ship group to make their ship come alive. i see it time and time and time again with almost every h/hr piece i read, though i haven't had the chance to read many at all here lately, despite it being summer and me being home from college for the summer....anyway, thanks so much again and again and again. hope you're doing well and having a good day. take care. it's the funniest thing. that line that you quoted from this piece, "but that wasn't good enough for whoever created them." i couldn't remember for the life of me where that was in the piece or what it referred to, so i had to read it again, lol...anyway, yeah, thanks again dear.

I've noticed that most readers won't comment on 'drabbles'. Personally, I think drabbles are harder to write than standard fics. Less planning, spur of the moment, first thing that comes to mind, and limited space for telling can be daunting. You did well and I was compelled to say so.

I'm serious about why I initially joined, check the 'Why I want to join' threads. :D

However, I found many other reasons to want to be a part of HarryHermione as well. Oddly enough, my laptop came in last month after I was without a system for about 5 weeks! It was hell, serious torment. :D I'm glad you're hooked up now.

I am having a good day, mostly. Thanks! Will you be posting the rest of your ficletts here as well?

About the H/Hr ship...it annoys the hell out of my friends. *sniggers* I don't have a ship. I like them all (-slash, not my thing).

Anyhoo. Expect more reviews. I try to stay concrit if there's something I think you might care to hear.

You have a great evening!

JAF

i do plan on posting the other ficlettes here, as well as my writing journal and my regular journal and several other h/hr communities, and at fanfic100 since that's the challenge i have over there. i'm about to go dig around in my room in my cd pile for the hp fanfiction cd where i hopefully have all of my hp fiction stored so i can download it here onto my new computer, and so hopefully i'll be up and running with that sometime soon. lets hope my inspiration hasn't died in this almost two month period i've been personal computerless, lol. anyway, i understand with the being all ships. i can be, but i really do lean more towards this one for whatever reason. it's just the thought of them with, well, i won't get started on my reasoning for h/hr, lol, i'll bore you to death. take care, hope you keep on enjoying the stuff you read here and everywhere else. there are loads of great hp fanfic writing communities separated by various ships and just general ones as well out there. take care.

I don't intend to be a pest, I would however enjoy hearing about your reasonings for Harry / Hermione pairing.

You take care as well.

heh, you aren't being a pest. most people don't even care to consider the harry/hermione pairing for whatever their reasons are, and i can get on a thread and keep going for a while. but i haven't actually been asked my reasons for shipping them lately, so these are really just off the top of my head right now. i guess the main thing is their solid friendship, their practically instant understanding of each other, the easiness they have with each other in it seems every situation that we've seen them deal with. the way hermione believes in harry (for the most part) without question (especially during the goblet of fire, hbp excluded for obvious reasons, lol) and just all of that in general really. the way she treats him like he's harry, not the harry potter, like everyone else does (even ron and ginny and the rest of the weasley's to varying extents despite their claims not to, especially ginny....) i don't like how the harry/ginny pairing is essentially the james/lily pairing a generation down, that unnerves me a good deal for some reason, and the fact of hermione and ron's constant bickering and fighting, that just isn't sound for any kind of real relationship in my opinion, lol....but anyway, it's almost time for me to head off to work for the afternoon and evening, so i need to get going. those are the things i could come up with right off the top of my head. anyway, i hope you're having a good day. take care.

I'm glad I wasn't coming over as a pest. Solid friendship and a mutual understanding of respect are the best foundations for a relationship in my opinion. Attraction is also important. Most H/G shippers IMHO do use the succession of James and Lily. It works well when used properly most of the time it appears to me as the fairy tale, fated relation-ship. I think that's why I'm shippless, leaves me at liberty to pursue them all.

It is my opinion that Harry and Hermione would have a stronger relationship than Harry and Ginny. I think Ginny has almost as much baggage as Harry so in our world it's pretty much doomed. Not our world, is it? That's why it's so fun to me.

Vernon Dursley is described as a man who did not approve of imagination. Who the heck wants to be like that idiot? So you ship Harry and Hermione or as I prefer to think of it...Hermione and Harry, this whole Fandom is imagination. Sounds like censor-ship to say your ship is dead because it's not canon. A very Dursley answer to stifle creativity. I admire you for not taking the easier of ships. Personally I think slash shippers have it the worse and I don't read slash.

Man, I'm all out of order here. *laughes* I don't view Ron and Hermiones bickering that way. I honestly believe most of that is Ron's immaturity and under confidence because of the way he grew up. The attraction is there, but hey JKR never said it was going to work out...Harry/Cho, Ron/Lavender, Hermione/Victor, if Harry has it his way...Harry/Ginny? Ooh those are words to get flamed for. Especially me!

Hope you had a good day at work, or at least it went by quickly! My day was crap, it was nice to get in and see your response. Gave me a smile, I owe you one.

Cya.
