Saw Arcade Fire last night. It was good, but not mind blowing. Accoustincs in the church were not the best, and their set really wasn't very long (75 minutes with the 2 song encore).

One note: they sold about 50 tickets at the door, so if you want to see them, you might try stopping by and giving it a shot.

Saw Madonna at MSG last night. My first real stadium show. Reconfiguring stage, and trapdoors, and roller skating dancers, and spectacle, spectacle, spectacle! It was pretty awesome actually! Goldfrapp @ Irving Plaza last night. Soooooo much better than the Nokia Theatre show. It was actually LOUD, and the crowd was way into it, and the light show was fantastic, and Alison was way way into it (and looked fantastic in a black jumpsuit + sparkly makeup). Went to Bowery last night to see Mr. Lidell do his neo-soul thing. Anyone who was anywhere else in the city seriously missed out (*cough* nyclife *cough*). Saw Tapes 'N Tapes (the latest blogger hype band) @ the Merc last night. There were moments of awesome, but nothing particularly special. Finian McKean (ex Push-Kings) was on before them...he sucked.

It was good, above average, perhaps even touching on great, but as possibly the show I've looked forward to more than any other this year it kinda let me down.
