We just had another one of those episodes in my house where my father is obviously retarded, so we tell him how he's wrong. This time he spend over $200 and wayyyy too many hours trying to get a 6 year old laptop to work. So then we say he's bad with money, then he says we are. He brings up really old examples that don't even really apply. We counter with much more current and accurate examples.
For example, he yelled at my mother for not using the broccoli so it turned brown. So he says that she wasted money. She says that he lost three pairs of glasses, and one of them were her glasses. He says they're in the house somewhere. I suggest he cleans up the house like he keeps saying he will so he can find it. So then he says my room is messy. But I haven't lost anything.
He keeps saying I have no friends. Reason #1: People are not even allowed over to my house because it's too messy. Reason #2: I can't drive anywhere because he says I'm not allowed to get a car.
This house is too negative and angry. I want out.
