As it would turn out, if you put beer in the freezer because you've just bought it unrefridgerated and plan to drink it pretty immediately, but don't end up drinking all of it and the remainder freezes, it will explode. And then your freezer with be filled with frozen chunks of beer and glass.

Please learn the difference between limes and lemons, and stop selling me small round GREEN lemons. Guacamole is not nearly as tasty this way. It might help if you didn't use the same word to refer to both.

I spent yesterday harvesting olives in an olive grove near Jenin. I'd expected it to feel really uncomfortable and to emphasize to me how little I'm able to do, but it wasn't that way. I mean, obviously it is small, it doesn't fix the situation, but everything that I can do is small, and if a lot of people do small things it can have a big effect. ( Read more... )
