Happy Birthday Queenie!
Another long weekend. This one brought on by the non-birthday of the Queen as opposed to illness although if you can class boredom as a sicknes then I'm chronically ill...
...y'know I think I might just give up having long weekend. Fuck public holidays I'll just go to work because at least there I am doing something which is better than sitting on my own stewing.
Friday I had a pretty good day at work since my evil boss is interstate at the moment. I was feeling chipper, looking very forward to my long weekend. My how that mood didn't last. I thought y'know I'd invite Stu down for some loving but noooooooooo he was already having a Guild Wars orgasm before I got home.
Saturday looked brighter. Jools was going to watch the football with me and I hope invite me out for coffee. Expected little from Stu since he was still getting off on his Guild Warsathon. The time crawlled by, I made cookies and eventually realised Jools was standing me up for alcohol. So I spent another miserable night alone in front of the television.
Sunday Jools reppears and we go shopping. She got moody when nothing in the 'Shoe Shed' fit her, so I suggested we go to Baby Target as I needed a gift for a friend and it gave her time to go on about her unborn nephew...again. Let's not even go into how much I don't care about the demonic little sprog.
In a last ditch effort for fun I bought a Spongebob PS2 game and this provided many hours of entertainment between conversation with Stu who'd reappeared somewhat from Guild Wars land.
He had the nerve to say he would have come down if I'd asked...WHEN WAS I SUPPOSED TO ASK? Frustrated but feeling brighter I invited him down today and he seemed happy to oblige. Did he come? No. Did he stand me up yet again? Yes. Did he have a lame reason? Of course...he's watching 'Lost'. Yes darling, asking you worked didn't it?

So there you have it...my long weekend that was spent mostly waiting, miserable and being horribly dissapointed :(
