So, are you still planning on being here for the summer? Specifically (she segued subtly) are you going to be here August 17th?

Yeah, still coming for the summer holidays. Specifically on August 17th I'll be in a music festival in Kibbutz Mizra, but might be able to give that day a miss if there's anything else terribly exciting planned for that day.

I'm trying to plan an SCA thing but it's still in early stages. I picked August 17th at semi-random because it's the day after Tu Be'av,the day itself being unavailable as it's a Shabbat. The SCA thing could almost certainly be moved later (though not earlier), unless other people find the 17th more convenient. But so far I haven't heard from anyone.

Cool. Keep me posted. The festival I'll be in takes place August 13-24. I haven't got the proper schedule yet, so I don't know which days would be more convenient or less convenient during that time. If it's possible to do it after the 24th, that would be best for me, but if not I'll see if I can come.

... I'm not entirely sure whether that's a deterrent or an incentive. I bet the postal workers would be thrilled, though.
