“HAPPY NEAR YOU EVERYONE!!” Lois shouted loudly at the whole room… Chloe flinched at Lois’s drunken slur of words of excitement as Jimmy led her upstairs to her alcohol off. Clark glanced down at her and grinned at her.
Chloe looked up at him, curious. “Why are you smiling?”
“I’m just glad I don’t have to deal with her tomorrow.” Clark admitted, causing Chloe to laugh.
“Yes, poor Jimmy - he really should have paid attention to the fact no one volunteered to watch over her.”
Clark laughed and nodded. “So, Chlo, care for another dance?”
“Not at all, Clark Kent.”
