“I’m sorry Rogue.” Sam Winchester stated as he pulled her closer to him. Rogue rolled her eyes.
“I’m not mad at you Sam, so you don’t have to be sorry.”
Sam studied her in confusion, “But I fell asleep… I missed our first New Years together. Why aren’t you angry?”
Rogue chuckled softly, “Sam, I’m just happy I have you here wrapped in my embrace warm and alive - I could care less if you were awake or asleep. Although, truthfully, the Midnight kiss would have been better had you been awake for it. Besides, we’ll have many more New Years together.”
Sam grinned, he hoped and wished they would too. Rogue was a different sort of girl - in all different ways - but he loved her for it, and he didn’t want to lose her.
