“Melanie Lori Allen! What did I tell you about speeding in the kitchen?” Dinah shouted at her daughter, who’d stopped beside the kitchen door and tried to look innocent.
“I believe you told Mel that she can’t speed in the kitchen, mom.” Carolyn stated grabbing the last banana. Melanie rolled her eyes at her twin and stuck her tongue at her.
“MEL!”
Melanie stopped her actions immediately, “I’m sorry mommy, won’t happen again.”
Dinah laughed, knowing that it wasn’t true. “You’re just as bad as your father. Just try to be careful? I almost lost your dad’s eggs.”
“Yes mother.”
