Happy Valentines Day.
hey there. happy valentines day!
The new year has been very interesting so far. lots of highs and lows. but mostly highs. so major lows. i didn't get into mcgill. which sucks big time, but i've dealt with it a lot better than i thought i would. i had my one lunch where i was really upset, but it was okay because i had all of my buddies to keep me sane. so actually, that was the real only low point of the year so far. I love my new semester it's pretty chill, but very interesting. Cawthra Live's going well so far. We're doing Clue which will be fun and Amanda and I are co-heads of the MC Committee which is exciting. I've sent off all of my university stuff. My u of t jazz audition's on feb. 28 and my ctep audition is on march 27 which i just got it switched to because it was originally feb.23 but that's when festival is, so now i have an extra month to practice! and i think about the best day that i've ever had in my life was my birthday. I really have the most amazing friends in the whole entire world. they kidnapped me at the end of 4th to go buy a lottery ticket and have a birthday brownie with some chocolate milk. and my parents spoiled me like crazy! i got a digital camera! it is my first! it's a canon SD1100 in "bohemian brown" and an itunes gift card, and some pyjamas. so it was pretty amazing. and i'm going to maddie's on sunday for a sleepover because monday's family day! i love my friends. so so much.
side note, with my itunes card that i've spent already some notable albums are "The Happiness Project" Charles Spearin, and right now i'm listening to the Herbie Hancock album "possibilities" which features him doing all these duets with various artists. it's really good so far.
so even though it's valentines day, when i'm usually very bitter because of the girl to guy ratio at cawthra. i'm feeling really good right now. so happy valentines day. know that you're loved by me!
