AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I'M ON SUCH A PERFORMANCE HIGH RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm really pleased with how the show turned out. it went really well in both the day and night show! the audiences were both really responsive, and we only had a few minor hiccups!!! my quick change was very stressful though!!!!! we ran scene seven, then i ran off, got changed, took my braids out, ran on, sang, ran off, changed, got my braids in, on stage to die just in time. i was so proud of all of the grade 12's, and i couldn't have asked for a better MC head than amanda. she was actually the best.
plus after the show i got the biggest compliment from mr. jones. i was cleaning up the stage and then i asked him if there was anything that needed to be done, because i was a bit hyper, and needed to do something, and this is what he said.
Mr. Jones: Emily
Me: ya mr. jones?
Mr. Jones: I really like your voice
Me: wow, thanks mr. jones!
Mr. Jones: I really like it, and your song was quirky, and perfect, and just what the show needed.
Me: wow! thanks a lot mr. jones! that means a lot to me coming from you!
and it really does. i really respect his opinion, and that made me feel really good about my singing!
so hopefully that will come back to me tomorrow for my auditions. i have both Laurier AND U of T tomorrow!!!! AGGGHHH!!! it's going to be a long day! i need to go to bed!!
