Somewhere over the rainbow...
Just wanted to brag to everyone that I'm going FLYING in a HELICOPTER on Monday--flight suit and all! I requested permission for this flight a couple weeks ago, and magically enough, it got approved with a quick turnaround. I'll be taking plenty of photos, where you can all see how snazzy I'd look if I were a pilot ;) PREP @ 0845; BRIEF @ 0945; LAUNCH @ 1215; RETURN @ 1515. Oh, Mac's going with me too, so I'm glad to be going with not only a friend, but a fellow photographer.
One of our shop's LPOs bought us all lunch today--more Greek gyros. Just after I had finished, I went to go get a drink, and our Maintenance Master Chief (MMCPO) cornered me and asked me if I've been eating. Obviously, I said yes, since I had just eaten. Anyway, he wanted to get rid of the rest of his gigantic burrito, so he gave it to me even though I'd told him I'd eaten. He gushed over how fabulous it was, so I felt obligated to take it. I took a bite and saved the rest for dinner tonight. Both meals were tasty, and free! ;)
