I'm a terribly indecisive person.
That quirk led to my leaving college back in 2004 in the first place. I would very much like to earn a degree in psychology, but I know I need to major in something science related if I plan on becoming an officer. While that is my ultimate goal, I wonder if I can get my AS in computer networking like the plan is now and then aim towards getting a BA in something more english related. I don't know if that's possible--switching from a degree in science (AS) to a degree in the arts (BA). I'll have to go to the Navy College office sometime this week and see if they know.
I'll continue with the science if I need to because I'd rather be an officer knowing that that will be my career in the long run. I'd only be majoring in psychology because that's something I enjoy. Really, I could always go back to college someday and get another degree--that's always an option.
I just want to get the most for my money and not feel like I'm getting the cheap seats at the championship game. I mean, the fact that I'm even at the game is enough, but if I can actually sit court side, it would make the win that much sweeter.
Eh, I'll research it and beat it to death like I do with most of my life's conundrums. In the meantime, I'm planning to take some more CLEP tests. I, at least, want to take my English Comp one so that I don't actually have to pay for those credits in the near future...Friday sounds like a good test day, but we'll see how my boss feels about that. I've got so much to do these days though--college, my EAWS (my "wings"), and my Plane Captain (PC) quals. You have no idea how much time all of that takes...kind of makes me glad that I can't take my advancement exam next month.
