The triathlon times are up, and mine is 2:09! Here I was thinking it was at LEAST 2.5 hours, maybe more, and I almost got under 2 hours! I mean, Tricia did it in 1:47, so I wasn't really THAT FAR BEHIND HER. Freakin yay.
My mom signed me up for a triathlon in St. George in October. x_x I won't be trying to beat my time though, because the bike is two miles longer in that one (how great that they pick my BEST event and make it even longer. Fabulous). Maybe I should shoot to get the same time, even though it's longer? Nah. I think my goal will be, again, to finish without dying. Also, lose even more weight by then so that while in St. George I can shop for new clothes. :3
Today my car's battery died. It refuses to start even with a jump from another car. Tomorrow I have to figure out how to take the battery out, take it to AutoZone, and say "I need another one of these thingers." Luckily I get paid tomorrow via direct deposit, so I will be able to buy the thinger they hand me. How much do car batteries usually run?
So I think there will not be a comic again today. :x I've been reading Rebel Angels all day because I am completely helpless in its clutches. I can't think of anything to do for the comic and all I want to do is keep reading. It has me flailing and shrieking. Currently Ann is in a most dire situation and the only reason I stopped was because I needed to e-mail Mike before I forget. And I kind of want a Facebook flair/LJ icon that says "Forget Edward Cullen, I'll take Kartik" because he is positively delicious, doesn't sparkle, and appears to be channeling Fakir on many occasions. Now back to the book to read, probably late into the night. I'll probably finish it. Even though I'm not even close to the end. And then I need to get to 160 pounds, because then my reward is to spend $50 at Borders, and I am freaking getting the last book in this series. DIRE. NEED.
