Book #49, Absolute Boyfriend
Finally got the last volume from Manga Takeout, and...it wasn't that great (though it was better than what I have come to expect from Yuu Watase). I wasn't expecting an ending of pure joy, because after all, it WAS about a love triangle, but still. It was handled so weird, and awkward. Typically I avoid love triangles for this very reason (I much prefer triangles like Fruits Basket, which resolves it long before the end of the series and allows the extra person to move on and find someone else). A love triangle resolved at the very end is never a really happy ending, unless one of the characters is a jerk.
Anyway, Melanie, we need to finish the drama now, as soon as I figure out how to get my computer to install the latest Flash (I swear I've installed it six times. It still doesn't work), and I really hope the ending is handled better. They've changed so many other things, hopefully they fixed the ending. I'm sure she'll end up with the same person, but COME ON - better conclusion plz?

Up next: I am actually very, very close to done with We Thought You Would Be Prettier, but I put off finishing it so that my 50th book would be an actual book. XD My sci fi epic is not moving along very quickly. I'm also re-reading Girl Got Game and am two volumes away from the end, so maybe I'll finish that this week.
