RIP Hitcher

Jul 14, 2006 13:00

Today my comdrades and I closed up two five ton trucks and drank some vodka in honor of our last day to have to work on the remake of The Hitcher.
We'll all be seeing eachother soon, as the television series for Friday Night Lights starts up on Monday.

I was able to schmooze with the key and best boy grips, as well as their motley crew, and I'm certain that I will have more work as a grip in the future, so am no longer worrying about being painted as an electrician.
Thank GAWD!

*I have some very good news.
The medic was able, after a week of my fretting, to clear up the colorless rash that I had developed all over my face. He believes that it was the stress I was in that started the damn thing.

*More good news, in fact, even better news...
My back is back in line and I have been functioning properly again!
If you ever need a reccomendation to a chiropractor, I know a FANTASTIC one. I've only been to see him once and suddenly I can lift again, have a grip again, am no longer having huge mood swing problems, no more eating (or lack of) problems, and my drinking is back under control.

He spoke with me about every little problem I had, and even concluded with me that the reason I was bleeding outside of my period cycle was that the strain my body was under was so fucking massive that my body, being tricked by the birth control pills to believe it was pregnant (you know how birth control works, right?), decided that it wasn't healthy enough to carry a child, and had a fucking miscarriage!

...but I'm all better now!
...Ish...

Anyway, so I have these next two days off before Friday Night Lights starts on Monday, and I've accepted some commercial work for Tuesday, but this weekend I actually have time, am not just running errands or cleaning and doing laundry, and am not in such massive pain and stress that I can't be seen by my beautiful friends.
No! This weekend will ROCK!

shout, job, ill
