The man gettin' me down.
I'm getting really tired of all of this legal shit I've had to deal with lately...
As you know, last week some dude smished the side of my dad's car while driving by, while I was alone driving it home from the grocery store. I had to deal with cops and insurace and shit for a couple of days there.
Wednesday I got a little work in Dallas and had to drive out there at six in the morning. I was scared of being late (Dallas traffic, not knowing where in hell I was), so drove between 75 and 80 the whole way. In West, TX, the little pit stop where they have the Czech Stop (a cool little Czech bakery and 24hr Czech owned Shell station with bunches of kolaches and stuff for sale -- it's pretty much the half way point between Austin and Dallas), a cop clocked me at 80 (I was going 73 at the time, but they love their money).
So I worked a 15hr day on Wednesday, not to mention the three and a half hour drive to location...ohh, and the drive home. I got off around three in the morning, gassed up, got back on I35, found a rest stop and slept until seven, then I drove to West, paid off the courthouse (they love their money), came back to Austin, filed for defensive driving for this Sunday, got my driving record sent to the courthouse in West, sent them a copy of my insurance, and passed out.
If I get another ticket it will raise my insurance again. I pay $300 a month for my car insurance.
I hate my financial life.
At this rate I'll never be able to move back out of my parents' house.
So...I've got defensive driving this Sunday, from ten to...four or something...
Speaking of driving, my truck's fucked up. Electrically. The window in the back won't roll down when I turn the key, therefore I can't open the back of my truck AT ALL. I'm sure it's just a motor or something, but hell if I know how to fix it, and it would cost $99 just for the guys to look at it! Mother fuckers...
