I'm going to see Owen Pallett this weekend in Seattle with Magan and Benny--I'm really excited.
I found out today that Owen Pallett is gay, which is actually kind of cool. I think there's something a little reassuring when I find out that people I like and really look up to are homosexual. I guess the gay stereotype that exists seems really vapid and shallow, and its just refreshing to remember that LGBT people are all over the place, and really span the width and breadth of our society. They're teachers, musicians, role-models, comic book readers. Some of them might be your friends, and some of them are definitely just assholes.
I'm kind of eager to hear the results of Perry v. Schwarzenegger.
