massive Vala rec list
The last two months I recced for Vala over at
stargateficrec. (who's shocked? :P) Anyway, I thought I'd post the complied list here here too. *G*
- Make Crosses From Your Lovers by
synecdochic. This story is fantastic. Amazing. Wonderful. Heartbreaking. And perfect Vala and Jack. Just wow. (Also, it's part of her Eurydiceverse, where everyone is just a little more fucked than they are in the show.)
- Incredible Luck, Annoying Charm by
ana_grrl. A short, but sweet look at how Vala (and Teal'c) see their teammates and the Tau'ri's in general. Aliens, 1, Humans, 0.
- Rise and Fall
by
01100100. This fic is BRILLIANT. Seriously, completely, entirely brilliant.
- Seduction by
meeshy. Never let it be said I am not a lover of crossovers, not matter the length.*g* Great crossover drabble that shows just how awesome Vala is anywhere in any verse.
- Friends, with Benefits by
irony_rocks. A look to what could have happened in that motel room in Memento Mori between Cam and Vala.
- Before I Walk Away Against My Will by
kalesbohan. An oldie, but a goodie. It's a Vala goes home fic, a wonderful Vala goes home fic.
- Like Little Mice We'll Wait by
princessofg. Seriously, there are not enough Jack/Vala fics in the world. A continuation of Make Crosses From Your Lovers.
- Build Your Walls, I'll Tear Them Down Brick By Brick by
kellifer_fic. It's Daniel's POV on Vala a weekend away at Jack's cabin. Plus, I still this the title is perfect.
- 29 things Vala is no longer allowed to do on the Odyssey by
ijemanja. An episode tag for Unending, this fic is absolutely fun and so perfect for the episode.

havocthecat. A moment between Vala and Adria.
- Mnemonics by
notadate. A lovely scene during the two weeks Vala was "missing" in Memento Mori.
- Of Belonging to Another by
pellucid. A fic about three women who were host and came out it the other side broken and still fighting.
- she can drive as fast as me, but she stops at all the lights by
minervacat. Oh, the brilliance that is this fic. The brilliance that is minervacat. It's Jack Harkness and Vala Mal Doran, and it is WIN.
- Late by AV21 (ff.net). Okay, yeah, it's one of my favourite Daniel/Vala fics too, but seriously great Vala and Team moments.
