hi, new show!
Flash Forward. OH, ME LIKES. It hits every scifi kink I have and it has people being awesome, figuring things out, Penny from Lost, and mystery! Parts of it remind me of SCC, others of Heroes s1, a pinch of Lost and Fringe, but overall it feels completely original in a way that most other shows just don't to me. It also had some really lovely shots that beg to be iconned/picspammed. Pardon my goofy smile.
Plus it's made me extra excited for V! After all it's the Aschen being lead by Adria! How in the universe can that be bad? *eg* And JULIET. Elizabeth Mitchell is awesome and she's looks all badass in it.
In other show news Fringe continues being Fringe, which basically means I love Walter and his Walter-like ways. Olivia is great and how has superhearing from going into alt!world. Why? We don't know (yet!), but I'm willing to handwave it because it's kinda awesome! I also stick with my Peter is from an alt!world too and he has hidden skills we just haven't been privy too like Olivia's.
My heart continues to mourn Charlie. After this ep even more because Olivia is still treating fake!Charlie like her BFF, but he's EVIL and she doesn't know. It's sad and a great twist, but sad. She and Peter continue to have great chemistry. The overall mystery of everything is still intriguing, now even more so because even though you, the viewer, know some facts that the characters don't, there's still so many questions behind everything.
The best part of Glee this week was Kurt and the football team, NCIS:LA didn't convince me at all. While I thought Hetty was adorable and awesome, I didn't like the fact that they recast Macy (that was her name, right?) and the other guy whose name I don't remember. I liked them and while the rest of the cast is the same they just don't click with me the same way the NCIS cast does. Not to mention only one girl on the actual team. I guess I'm too used to Abby, Kate and then Ziva not taking shit from the boys. Not that Kenzie seems like a doormat, it's just that the other women just has such strong personalities from the get go. To be fair, it was only the first episode, but I just don't think I'm going to be an avid watcher of the show.
