Right, so here's an example of why I still harbor my teenaged dream of moving to New York, cliched and impossible though it is. Very limited-run cabaret shows, by people with limited fan bases (rabid ones anyway), just don't come to the Midwest. We don't feel midwestern in this town, but we are to the entertainment industry.
