Prompt: Women of Oz

Note: Normally, I try to write drabbles of exactly 100 words for this community, because that is truly a challenge for me, but it just wasn't happening this time.
Describe a time you faced adversity.
Holly rolled her eyes so hard, they almost disconnected from their sockets. She hated these bullshit writing prompts. Why didn't teachers ever want you to describe the time a spaceship landed in your backyard?
Holly gripped her pencil tight. Adversity.
She should write about that time she found her mother’s dead body. Or when her grandfather was murdered. Or the time her father broke parole.
Maybe her teacher would enjoy reading about what happened to Gary.
Holly sighed. No, it'd probably be best if she kept those recollections to herself.
Taking a deep breath, she wrote instead about the time she broke her arm and had to rely on her friends' goodwill for help performing the simplest of tasks. Blah-blah-blah.
Holly had never broken her arm.
Three days later, her teacher returned their papers. Holly glanced at her "A" and smiled. Not because she'd done well, but because she'd successfully countered the world's bullshit with some of her own.
